robyn's ombre wedding

Robyn's bouquet was so fun to go from pinks to oranges to yellows...I loved being able to do this arrangement and making the bride's style come to life!
The flowers were chosen to reflect the bride's love of the "old fashion" rose.  David Austin light pink roses on the left, medium pink spray roses and lisianthus in the next level of color, then spray painted carnations for a light orange, the ranunculus are such a great orange middle, followed by a peachy spray rose, yellow spray rose and yellow ranunculus.  The greenery is the yummy smelling lemon geranium...

the cake was also beautiful in ombre from the bottom up and gold edible sugar/glitter!

The reception was held at Pioneer Hall in West Jordan....the family made a ribbon curtain and hung on the stage, it turned out gorgeous!  The tables had centerpieces of spray painted carnations in pinks on the left, orange in the middle and yellow on the right...

A close up of the grooms bout.  (note: the ranunculus and geranium leaf only lasted about 4 hours....) for the other people flowers I used a sprayed carnation and a spray rose!

camille and dj's wedding

holy crap...this is my youngest brother and the last of us to get married!  I had such a good time doing their flowers!  Orange, green, cream/white were their colors.  Their style was what I might call wildflower formal...with some hipster touches of burlap and painted flowers and dried flowers.  WAY AWESOME!

The flowers we decided to use were peonies (in the bouquet), orange and yellow gerberas, peachy mini carnations, orange mini roses, orange and yellow Colombian roses, green ranunculus, orange painted Billy Balls, white mums, spiral eucalyptus, poppy pods, light orange carnations, variegated pittosporum, orange filler flower,  and dahlia

BOUTS:  The burlap/Billy Ball bouts turned out really cute!  I "made" a leaf out of the burlap by fan folding the bottom of the fabric to make the "stem".  Then hot glued it together.  The Billy Balls and the seed pod I used have more of a dried feeling so they were also wrapped/glued in the stem.  Then I wrapped the stem in pearls and glued!  These were great because I could make them ahead of the other flowers.

Various pictures of the centerpieces which were provided by the Bride's family.  They have several vases in the colors chosen and so each centerpiece was unique!

A Candy Table with vintage linens.

A burlap runner on each table set off more vintage crochet, candles, framed pictures and the floral centerpiece!

Another arrangement...

And another arrangement...

No flowers on the cake, but I thought it was unique and fun so I included it here!

nicole's wedding

This is a sign in table arrangement that will double as a toss bouqet later in the festivities. Also included at this table is a tribute frame and boutonniere to the Bride's dad who has passed on.  I loved this idea to include him in this way.

This is the buffet arrangement full of Stargazer lilies, hot pink gerbera daisy, orange roses, hot pink roses, turquoise carnations and accent filler!

Hot pink, orange and turquoise were the Bride's colors. It made for a really fun and bright wedding flower experience!  Included in the arrangements--pink oriental lilies, hot pink roses called star 2000, orange roses called topaz, orange and hot pink gerberas, orange cockscomb, variegated pittosporum, lily grass, ruskus, orange waxflower and a turquoise painted grevillea and turquoise spray painted carnations...

I love oriental lilies...I would love to learn more how to make them look really awesome in pictures

Her bridesmaids had handheld versions of her bouquet with ribbon...I always prompt my brides and bridesmaids to hold the flowers at the lowest point their hands can go...it looks better in pictures!

The Bride and Groom got married looking over a cute little local lake....
The Bride's brother escorted her down the aisle...happily ever after!

crystal's feminine/nature wedding

oh how i wish i was a bit on the photographer side so i could get the beauty of the slightly green roses, the brown of the mountain grass and the touch of gold of these bouts and corsages!  the women wore them with accents of feathers, the men had a poppy pod in their bout.  they turned out great!

this was the presentation style bouquet: a touch of the natural, woodsy style with a feminine touch of magnolia and roses and gold as the main elements.  crystal's colors were green, gold and brown and so the colors naturally lent themselves to a natural style and selection of flowers.
a top view of the bouquet....just gorgeous!
a centerpiece idea of mini carns and gold sprayed bear grass. they used a spider mum with live frogs and rocks...so cute!
a buffet arrangement of roses and black mountain grass (which is really brown)...

katie and david's modern classic vintage wedding

i must be the luckiest florist around.  i love all my clients and the flowers i get to do!  this is katie and david and they join my blog of fabulous couples with great floral and presentation style!
i called her style a modern classic vintage: to incorporate the bright pink but with the vintage feel of her birdcage veil and the classic flowers of roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, peonies, baby's breath and calla lilies.
two views of the top of the bouquet.  we also added a "bracelet" of bling around the stems of the flowers that i forgot to photograph.  for added flair we added the pearls on wire throughout.

the bridesmaids got to carry two shades of roses, calla lillies and feathers!  the feathers reflect the feathers in the brides hairpiece!
the people flowers were a medium pink rose, baby's breath sprayed light pink and a feather or jewel!

cute little flower girl with two roses of different shades!
cake flowers included hydrangea around the bases with baby's breath interspersed and roses and hydrangea on top.  this color hydrandea is called 'antique'.  it is gorgeous!

centerpieces included hydrangeas, roses, wax flower, lisianthus, baby's breath, and a green ribbon.  they were in 23" tall vases!  i loved how they turned out.  they made quite a statement in that large room!
